We will close Davis Dancewear Etc. on May 15, 2023. Look for the same quality dance shoes and dancewear from Variations Dancewear after June 3rd.
In anticipation of making room for Variations Dancewear, shop inventory will be discounted 35%. Our pointe shoe inventory is not included in our reduction sale.
We will not accept special orders after March 1. We will honor our loyalty punch cards through March 31st. Shop early and often for best selection!
T-shirts are on sale starting February 23 through March 20. T-shirts are ordered through Dance StudioPro. No t-shirts can be ordered after March 20.
All student names will be on the back of the t-shirt. Student names are attached and will be posted at the studio for you to check spelling and to make sure we did not inadvertently forget someone. Please contact us with any changes or correct them on the posted copy.
We are proud and excited to announce that we have finalized the sale of Virginia Davis School of Dance and Davis Dancewear Etc. to Variations Dance Academy.
It turns out that our search for a studio dance educator was in our own eastside backyard.
We share a fundamental mission to provide exceptional dance education to our students and families in a non-competitive environment where all are welcome, encouraged and embraced.
We could not be more honored knowing we are leaving our studio in the very capable hands and heart of Mynda Lynn. Miss Mynda is thrilled to continue the beautiful culture we have created over the past 48 years. She will be visiting classes and families throughout the remainder of the year and will personally reach out to our families.
It has been our greatest pride and privilege to share our life’s work with all of you. We look forward to our “Great for 48” final performances on May 20-21, 2023 at East High School.
Virginia Davis School of Dance is excited to announce that the “Dream On” and “Candyland” recitals will be video taped by Windwood Studio.
Online ordering is now available so you can order your video(s) in advance. There is also a digital download option!

Recital tickets went on sale Saturday April 23th, at 7:00 am. Recital is May 21 and May 22, at Madison East High School. All tickets are reserved seating. Everyone, including dancers, must have a ticket to enter the theater and see the show. NOTE: Children 2 & under need no ticket, but must sit on a parent’s lap.
Tickets are available online only at: ‘https://www.danceticketing.com/27793‘. Go to the site select your show, then select Main Floor or Balcony and pick your seat. You MUST print your ticket for admission, we do not accept electronic copies.
Tickets will be $12 each, we encourage you to purchase tickets ahead of time as there is limited capacity in the theater.
